I think Mikeymike's combo will work. The reason why yours didn't, Griffth_se, is because you were relying on "At beginning of upkeep" effects, which only happen once a turn. Mikeymike's effects are not restricted to that kind of thing so he can do it as many times as he wants.

I'll vote for Revised, since it still contained some supposedly broken cards like Wheel of Fortune, Demonic Tutor, etc (:)) and still some nostalgic creatures like Serra and Sengir. So I guess this is pretty much on the nostalgic factor.
