I'm actually unclear on why they a) made it a game-controlled ability, and b) had the gane put it on the stack last, instead of first. :confused: I guess something happened with card interactions where this came up, but I'm not sure when or where...

Well, realistically, how many CCG games are out there that AREN'T owned by WOTC? It seems to me that Magic is pretty much going to be the market and that means colliding with WOTC sometime. And I don't see where there's a card creation system, just a "composer" to create your own plug-in. And...

theorgg: You were looking at a 7th rulebook? That leads me to believe that "Bands with X" will be a NEW ability that might behave as you describe, because there hasn't been a change to "Bands With Other" on crystalkeep for a long while.

Well, a search card IS stronger in that you can search for a counter and then play it now :p The search card itself hasn't changed, just the way you can use it with the stack now. Poor horse... :D

I interpret "card interactions" as "searching for counters while on the stack". The search card remains the same, but the use with the stack is new and different. And it did fix alot of problems: Lifeline interactions being a prime example.

I go into "whirlwind" mode, spinning and kicking and punching at the underbelly.
