Hmm, another toughie. I haven't used either alot, so personal preference won't make much of a difference here. I guess I say Blood Moon because of it's global effect and it is faster than the Miner, who's susceptible to creature effects.

I guess it depends on how much a person feels that WOTC should support Type 1. Knowing their current level of support thanks to Mark Rosewater, having a handful of cards (say, 5-10 out of the 300+ in a block) that are still viable in Type 1 is probably pretty good, for a format that's not...

Well, if we were really ambitious, we could do both. However, perhaps that's better left to the future... :) I wouldn't mind being a judge. I know I don't really have the time to participate in either a writing or deckbuilding contest, so judging is the next best thing.

With a great creaking sound, a sudden violent wind topples a rotted tree next to Spidey. He tries to leap out of the way but his feet catch together and with a massive <crash> the tree's crown covers him. Frantically the other villagers heave the tree off, but Spidey is out with a nasty bump...

Well, I played last night and it was okay (at least with multiplayer so attention was somewhat divided), but I definately was a target of Threshold Guy. Things I found with multiplayer with this deck: I need card drawing. Not really wanting to put in Necro or Greed, I'm probably going to have...

Hmm. So really, this isn't a writer's contest, but a deck contest, something like Dune Echo ran a year or so ago. I think it's possible. But who's gonna judge these things?

Yeah, that was it. I don't like its temporary effect either so I was hoping for more permanent solutions. The only cards my opponent really pays with Madness is the blue 1cc U draw a card, Madness draw a card. So it's probably not worth it yet.

Hmm, I thought my friend took a G/U precon and modified it. I guess not. I don't know anything about these, but since white and green got some good cards, I'd say expect to play against that.
