I guess the problem I see is that "you guys" are not being consistent. You're willing to use the cumulative upkeep counters which is basically errata there but not the depletion lands errata since they lose them. It's the same argument I used with Waylay way back when: no one wanted to use it...

Is this deck intended to play against friends or strangers? 'Cause if it's friends, I'm not sure how "fun" a deck is if it's supposed to kill on Turn 2 (unless everyone else is playing a similiar type of deck and it's just a race who can get their combo off). With strangers, you'd need to find...

I'm still in but haven't been playing as much... barely once a month, so haven't really gotten a lot of cards... just what train has been able to send me and a couple of packs of Mirrodin here and there.

Well, I think one poll a week is fine. It gives the (few) people here time to respond and post their thoughts, but since there's so few, once people are done, there won;'t be much wait for the next one.

Are the .dec formats between MTGO and Apprentice interchangeable? Because I would have assumed it was an Apprentice deck (despite the thread subject matter :) )

That's the truth. I don't understand a good majority of the assembler code I deal with because comments are few and far between and it jumps all over the place.

Yeah, I noticed that and that during the blowgun part, everyone kept aiming at the center instead of raising it to compensate for either poor breath control or wind or whatever. Of course, they only got one chance but you figure the people watching the first ones go might have tried it :)

Like somebody said in one of the answers to orgg's article about these, it's probably because of their policy of Basic Edition cards must be reprints. That and probably they might be good in Limited Construction, who knows.

Aren't there other, later cards that don't untap as normal or if something happens? I think they're trying to make it all consistent - and they went the way of no counters. <shrug>
