    A New Kind of Game!!!

Zephyr water was poured on Oversoul from above. Blinking in surprise, he glanced upward.

    The Question Game!

You left them lying around when you went on your morning potty break. How many names start with "Q"?

D&D: Palace of the Silver Princess

You can't really place an age on the tapestries. They're definitely not "shiny new" as in made-yesterday, but they're not frayed either as in made-hundreds-of-years-ago. They just seem to have been well-maintained, except for a thin layer of dust (as in on most of the stuff in the castle now)...

What does "Casual" play mean to you?

DUke: Now that I can agree with. But let's take it a step further... suppose you don't know if there's a way to make your deck stronger (yet). You either try to think of a use of a card or think there's an even better or alternate way to improve a supposed winning deck. So you build, test...

    Magic 1000 Nearing

I don't think it's accurate then, as when you click on the Daughter M94 story, the articleid is 998. So if we're only two away, it's probably going to be one of SeFRo/Notepad's stories...

    tribal?

That would be Perish and probably a no-no... :)

D&D: Palace of the Silver Princess

The fountain is just a small circular base with a spout coming up the middle. Nothing elaborate or special. The tapestries don't look "old" but neither "new".

What does "Casual" play mean to you?

Sorry, I still disagree. I can see many deckbuilds where you are not giving your opponent a "deliberate chance to win", yet can still be casual. Not using Affinity to its cutthroat edge, but just using some of the Frogmites and Artifact lands (who knows, maybe it's an amphibion deck), for...

What does "Casual" play mean to you?

This is an example of faulty logic. It would work IF casual play solely meant take-backs. But it does not. Take-backs is just one facet of casual play (and I am hoping, one of the non-gray areas). But just because MTGO enforces the rules strictly, and there are players claiming to be...

    tribal?

Well, on one hand, you run the risk of having a dead card in your hand if no one is playing that color/land type (unless you Hack or Sleight it). On the other, it can be pretty devastating to a player if he's suddenly wiped out, which really isn't in the spirit of tribal (I don't think...

D&D: Palace of the Silver Princess

A good question.... :) Upon closely inspection, you recognize the maiden to be Princess Argenta. You don't recognize the warrior however. Patrick checks out the fountain.

What does "Casual" play mean to you?

I'm not sure how it proves your point. It just tells me that MTGO strictly applies the rules. But like I said, you can't get much more casual than allowing take-backs or applying the rules judiciously in a game IRL.

I think no one would have noticed if you didn't say anything... :D I'd have to check the actual number we're on, but I'd guess you'll hit it :)

    Ravnica block booster draft

I was thinking of the format where each player opens a booster, picks a card, and passes it in one direction. Then, when that booster is exhausted, they open another and pass it in the opposite direction. I didn't know sanctioned events go 123, in which case your statements make more sense...

    Ravnica block booster draft

Well, if you've been reading about it on other sites, then you know more about it than I, but I disagree about the "minimal support" statement until I see it. I mean, from what I understand, each expansion is going to be "dedicated" to the guilds it showcases. And in booster draft, doesn't it...

While Ransac cringed at finally being cornered by Oversoul, he was pleasantly surprised when Oversoul gave him a hug instead and said, "Let's be pals".

Not really. It more depends on how affluent your area is and local supply and demand. Whistle or hum?
