I'm not sure how it proves your point. It just tells me that MTGO strictly applies the rules. But like I said, you can't get much more casual than allowing take-backs or applying the rules judiciously in a game IRL.

I was thinking of the format where each player opens a booster, picks a card, and passes it in one direction. Then, when that booster is exhausted, they open another and pass it in the opposite direction. I didn't know sanctioned events go 123, in which case your statements make more sense...
