Okay, northeast it is. It travels roughly 30' before splitting and you can go north or south. North, your torches show just a little cave alcove 20' ahead while the "main" part seems to make a sharp turn to the east. South, it just goes on for at least 30' before fading to darkness.

It probably marked it as read because of the time - even if you don't read threads or PMs, if you come back to the CPA after a while so the time of your "last visited" is updated, the unread threads are not counted as "new" anymore. Still you guys turn (since you're conversing after our turn...) :)
