*I'm thinking when in single file formation our marching order could be Rondo, train's guy (he's the elf, right?), Bertrem, Patrick, Cugel, and Devin. This would give us the 2 bows up front (I'm assuming train's elf would have a bow here...;) ), the cleric and mage, and some beef in back in case...

I think replacing a vanilla 1/1 creature with a 2/2 that also gets you a draw for U1 is plenty strong, IMHO. Especially since you're also playing you're 2/2 for half it's normal mana cost, at the expense of a bought and paid for creature you can replay as normal. I wonder if there will be more...
