Maybe they just needed some vanilla fatties and already had enough of the mana activated/whatever the other category was creatures. Plus, if they're continuing the trend of the basic editions being "Advanced" or whatever, I think Morphling would confuse the heck out of people... :rolleyes...

But being the neat on-line freaks we are, we think that since the cards don't necessarily have to lead to decks, being in the Deck forum would be slightly misleading (sorta like the difference between General and CPA Magic Issues...). It'd just be a nice subdivision...
