You guys are the card designers, not me :) Anyhoo, that was my thought on it. Since you include 'As an additional cost', I don't think you can cast it without having cards in your hand. If it was part of the resolution, it would work (like "shuffle 2 cards in your library, then draw 3 cards"...

Didn't we have a talk about the cost of cantrips sometime in the forum earlier? I think in the history of cards, most cantrips are around 3 cc, one color and 2 colorless minimum. So I think the original cc is fair.

Well, I think it started out with rather "open" requirements. I just think before we do comparing we should nail down the requirements a bit more so everyone's on the same page. Otherwise we get these arguments :)

Well, that's slightly different. BoP has flying, is 0/1, and can produce ANY color. Elves are 1/1 and just produce G. I think we're talking something like Pearled Unicorn and Zhalfirin Knight. Both common, same cc, same P/t, yet the Knight has flanking and an activated ability. Oops, that's...

Regarding the mulligan: Should that be clarified on the site? 'Cause it was unclear (which is why I asked). It's down near the bottom, right before Official Errata.

From www.5-color.com When mulliganing, if Player A mulligans, Player B is allowed to mulligan without using up his "mulligan". On the next hand, if Player B mulligans, is Player A also allowed to mulligan in response like B was able to do to A? How did the "Having No Permanents" rule come about?

Does "pain" stuff like Power Surge and Manabarbs make you too much of a target? Is Mana Flare good in here?
