I'm not sure what you guys mean by "survival" here. Are you lacking for food and shelter in this example? I think being selfish is to have/get something for yourself when someone else needed it more. If they don't need it, then getting it for yourself is fine.

The 1/2 or other fractions were obtained because someone voted for more than one person for a single category. Hence, I split the vote (rather than go back and ask which one they really meant).
