I've heard and played with this variant before, only we did it by point-drafting and regular booster draft... We only had 4 people total so it got old after playing a person a couple times because you knew how you were going to build the deck again once you played. Still interesting though.

I have to agree with grayson that your last bit sounds a bit harsh, NorrYtt... Glad to have inspired a deck! Just to keep analysis going, is Serra Angel the best one at this point? What about the one with the built-in Spirit Link (Warrior?)? It might cost more but it might be better...

I think "odd" expansions are fine. It'll make you think :) I don't really care, but I'll pick Tempest, Mirage, and Ice Age.

Yep, my deck needs work against fast creature decks. Although I do think Pyroclasm is in the sideboard... I got a LD deck you can try against :)
