Mmm... Joust. That's one of the games I have on MAME. Not too good at it (only made it to the 4th or so level) but it's nice and quick. Too bad you can only put your name in the high score list 5 times (out of 40 or so) :)

I like this but... it seems your creatures are fairly weak (except maybe Wood Elves, I can't remember what they do offhand). What do you do if you get beat down early so the extra life you start to gain is to offset that, instead of drawing cards?

Yeah, but getting paired with unblockable makes it too strong. It's bad enough it has haste which combined with the second ability you pretty much get control of a creature then.

I'll agree to that also. Especially since the pre-releases are touted to be "informal" of the tournaments and all that... I think someone wrote an article on Beginners Guide to Sealed/Drafting, it might not hurt to either dig it up and/or rewrite it.

Well, I did come in at the tail end of the Dark, so perhaps your memory is better. I just "remember" (due to the Duelist) about the Legends sorting/packing fiasco. Those Fallen Empires though, you could get them for $.99 at some places! Now, there's a store near me who sells them back at $2.99 :)

Yeah, but they've pretty much stayed in the base sets since Revised. Most of those others that train mentioned have appeared in numerous expansion sets as well.

Well, Magic-writing is basically Storyline (or has turned into it) or just articles on the front page. Anything not really an "article" goes into General. I would probably wait and see how many "off-topic" writers there are before making a separate forum for them.

Someone is going to have to make a decision on the Circle because it affects my turn since my lands will phase in. Personally, I think we ought to go with "mine" since it's the up-to-date one :) And unfortunately, I have a meeting all afternoon so I won't be on until 3 PM EST...

That is the point. If you didn't attack me and instead beat on someone else, you'd probably still have it.

Isn't that some dopey :) answer like Mountain (which I think was in Arabian Nights so it gets the nod over other basic lands). A better question would be what non-basic land card is in the most Magic sets :)

I think those are good ideas. Someone will need to keep on top of the New Player's Guide as new pre-cons come out though. And I still have your cards as prizes for Writing contests; I never found enough time to start them up myself :(

I'm not sure you can separate out "bandwidth" for individual forums. Personally, I'd like the focus to stay on Magic here.
