Not offhand. Like you said, they don't do it much (and not too many are active anyway).

S.F. Gives finger to Feds, Ok's same sex marriages...

No no, I know of the theory that homosexuality is genetic. What I didn't know what that it was being used as the argument for gay marriage (or discrimination). Everything I've read was for equal rights as given to hetero marriages.

    A fun deck idea

I would have thought they would have stopped it a long time ago, or even when MTGO was getting off the ground, if that was the case...

S.F. Gives finger to Feds, Ok's same sex marriages...

Wow, lots of stuff from yesterday that I missed. Here's where I try to catch up :) mythosx: I'll agree with this although I was unaware that homosexuals were using the "genetic trait" as justification for stopping discrimination. Where did you find this? And why stop "at the opposite...

    Upcoming Elections

I think Bush will win, but it will be close barring some "miracle" in Iraq that brings that to a satisfactory closure. Sure, Bush brought a war but he also brought the post-war headaches. We have one, it's just so happens that the strongest contenders of each period are from the two...

What kind of decks do YOU run?

I've got a W/B/G control deck, R/G Sneak Attack deck, R barbarian tribe deck, R with a touch of white dwarf deck, R/U steal creature deck, and I think I have a W/U bird Soldier deck (not sure if I took it apart). And a R/G/W splash of blue Manabarbs deck that needs to be updated.

    The Question Game!

Just enough. Why did someone invent the lawnmower? As in why did grass need to be cut in the first place?

    That crazy hub thingy...

Not sure of what you're trying to say here, snow-covered lands are basically a "subset" of regular basic lands. Apparently they got errata'd - see their Oracle wording here. There's still only 5 basic land types; if something targets a "snow covered" something, the land has to be snow covered...

    Fun with a modualar triskelion

This is incorrect, you can "target" the Sliver type with the Plague. And as far as I know, it's always been that way. Oversoul: Again, you must play in a totally different environment because everyone I know plays with some targetted creature removal, be it StP, a burn spell, or some...

    Cleric Deck

Yeah, but back then, there were really only 3 "common" counterspells (no one I knew had Mana Drains) so that was only 12 counterspells out of 60 cards, which isn't that great of a ratio. More often than not, the opponent could get out of it (especially if they were willing to take the 2 dmg...

    Fifth Dawn Spoiler

Oversoul: I think that if you ask Richard and the original designers, they'd probably say those cards shouldn't have been made either, knowing what they know now (and I think they have), but that's not the point of this whole thing :) mythosx was saying how with the Bauble, the color pie is...

    Fifth Dawn- how disappointing

Man, you guys are a bunch of conservatives! :) I wish more people were here to get a better range of opinions. I like the new stuff and ideas. I haven't had a chance to play with them really, but I like having the option if I wanted to. What exactly is the "basics"? The "flavor"? The...
