Well, like I said, I think it's the possibility for a turn 1 win is why Earthcraft is restricted. Same thing with Channel; it doesn't win on its own but needs a burn spell. Although I think Earthcraft was used with Mesa something or other 'cause I think it was called "MesaCraft" or something...

I agree. I think you got hung up on the definition of "belief" when all he was trying to say was that someone's personal beliefs should not interfere with policy-making that involves people of many beliefs - the policy should cover all beliefs and not restrict any certain ones no matter what...
