I am responding to your statement that while it appears in YOUR experience that you don't know if they're following the list, in MINE they do, which is why I think that.

    [Deck] Grim and Tr00

I said it again and explained it a bit more since it appeared you felt the need to say you thought it was a reason again

    The new format...

Nono, forget the part about being also banned in block, because apparently Chrome Mox isn't banned in Mirrodin. I thought it was and so said the whole thing wrong. Let me restate: We follow the Vintage B/R list. However, if the card is in the current block that's available, we can still play...

    The Deck that saved Shandalar!

Then what was the point of your post? Aside from perhaps being slightly tongue-in-cheek? Because what I got from it was that the deck had 4 Fastbonds and you were saying "oh my, 4 Fastbonds, that card's restricted" and putting some weird post to signify that it was a typical CPA response...

Not necessarily at a Prerelease. It's billed as a "friendly" event where everyone can come without the tourney pressure, and there's plenty of kids and adults who go to these and not other tournaments. They go to get a first look at the cards and whatnot. And I wasn't sure if it was pertinent...

    [Deck] Grim and Tr00

I doubt the second reason because there IS a budget deck competing with the best apparently: U/R Fish. And the people that actually make the decision, unlike letting the "players" make the choice, probably don't care about the value of a card either when making the decision - they do it for its...

    The new format...

You're right, I mixed up what I was trying to say. If it's on the B/R list for Type 1 but in the current block, you're allowed to play multiples of it (I think). It came up with Chrome Mox because two guys had gotten 4 of them just as it got on the Vintage B/R list and they still wanted to...

    The Deck that saved Shandalar!

Fastbond probably wasn't restricted back when the game was made PLUS there's several ways you can get multiple of the "restricted" cards and allow them in your deck. I'd post my monowhite deck I used to beat the game with if I didn't save over it with a new game starting with black :)

Ditto. Anyone I asked to play at a Prerelease outside of our game matches, we agreed whether to play Standard or Type 1/Vintage/Classic and we didn't have to go into what was banned or restricted because we already knew from the format.

Nope, it's of type - Fungusaur

    [Deck] Grim and Tr00

I've seen a couple of people say that here. But I've more seen the real reason being it's a card drawer in general which makes it dangerous, not that you can draw a high amount of cards in one turn. That's why I said "maybe".

    The new format...

I will if it ever gets played... I should probably add if it's banned in the current block, as no one cares about Linn Sivvi either...

All righty, I'm all ears... what are some topics that lend themselves more to writing?

Actually, it could probably mean "Characterized by excellence, maturity, and enduring appeal; classic" which would probably fit your liking more. And the only time raisin could be applied to it is if they're old and outmoded grapes.... :)

    Wizards gives blue back Counterspell...

Right. You don't play in the Standard format so you shouldn't care; you have access to all the Counterspells and Dark Rituals you can muster. Have at it. Unfortunately for you, it HAS been shown that people are willing to play in rotating formats so that's here to stay...

    'Infinte' Turns Combos

Since those are talking decks rather than people, it's better to keep them separate as you can then assign the people the various deck types. Of course people are multifaceted, but they generally lean towards ONE type than all the others. Hardly anyone has equal parts in their facets and if...

    COK preview cards

Maybe I don't play enough or as much as you guys do, but I don't see the big deal. Legends change - doesn't affect me much as I've already stated that my group doesn't play with a whole lot of legends. Walls change - same thing. You guys can of course rant and rave all you want, that's what...

    Important thingy, assistance needed...

The problem with "raisin" is that it DOES seem random to people who know Vintage means something other than "from a vineyard" and thus won't even be seriously considered. You need to pick something that can tie in with all the definitions of "Vintage".

And some people are interested in buying, post something in the Trading Forum to see if there's any interest.

    Wizards gives blue back Counterspell...

Of course, because they're the "original" cheap spells for their effects. Who wouldn't want to use those when choosing between them and Cabal Ritual (?) and Shock? Regrowth over Elven Cache? Black Lotus over Lion's Eye Diamond? I think Counterspell was borderline for so long because it cost...
