That's why the Legend rule got changed, so if you drew your Legend second, it wouldn't be a wasted card in your hand :)

It's a Y2K bug in the software. I believe anyone who registered before 2000 has that date in their profile (unless they went ahead and changed it)

Well, off the top of my head, you can play Second Sunrise to get all of the lands back (or Harvest Wurm for one) (and I think there's another spell that lets you get lands back into play), and/or combo it with anything that uses counters (Power Conduit, Spike Rogue, whatever).
