Funny that you think Fork and Wheel are too slow. My deck runs them and kills 4th turn most games. Sonic Burst is two mana for four damage. It's only slow if you draw them in multiples, which should be rare when only using two. Fanatic is not that good against some decks, but it's at least one...

So you play by rules designed for Type I, but don't really play Type I. Well, not competitively anyway... If this format is a hit, it will be I think much more similar to what you already play than actual Type I, which is filled with expensive brokenness and always has been...
