I don't know why Channel's restricted actually. That was why it was restricted before, but then they unrestricted it because they decided it wasn't a threat any more. I left for a while and when I came back Channel was restricted again... Sacred Mesa was one of the card used with Earthcraft...

Well, you know... I don't want to jump into anything recklessly. If the tournament is fought with crossbows over a chasm of doom or something... Well, I don't mind chasms of doom, but the bow is not my weapon of choice, and I'd rather just watch then... ;) I am interested though...

Fish seems like an okay name to me. Just plain "Merfolk" doesn't sound interesting enough, but calling them Fish still establishes some sense to the name, until a new deck is created that is still called Fish, but doesn't use Merfolk... Parfait seems like a great name. It DOES mean "perfect"...

Wasn't done before? Well, it wasn't done with artifacts, but it was done with gold cards in Invasion, with similar results. It wasn't as bad, I suppose, since the cards weren't as powerful and the block before it had been so completely different. Odyssey's graveyard focus wasn't as bad either...

Morphling is a perfectly reasonable card. It is a creature with some abilities, all of which are pretty similar to the abilities of other creatures. It just happens to have an inordinate number of them... Like Chromat really, except the Morphling doesn't suck... Door is a win condition card. I...

I agree completely about Vise, although I think that perhaps more than any other card, Earthcraft could safely be unrestricted. It wouldn't benifit control or aggro type decks, so it would have to be used as a combo component... I don't have all the information on Type I, but I don't know that...
