It's a pretty nice little bullet. It's not the best at slowing down the opponent and as an attacker it's nothing to scream about. I had a friend who used it in block constructed and really liked it there. In formats with larger cardpools there tend to be better choices...

Yes, Demonic Tutor is a very good card, but I don't think anyone believes that it isn't (Demonic Consultation and Vampiric Tutor are pretty powerful as well). Anyway, your last statement seems strange, since Demonic Tutor puts a card in your hand, and if being the graveyard is what you're after...

Ferret, I think we're talking about linking to threads in our own forums (from our frontpage).

I think I still have four Demonic Tutors. I used to have six. I have one Vampiric Tutor but it would have been harder to get one had it not been reprinted. I don't think increased accessability to cards is a bad thing.

Do you mean it turned Type II into that? Because it didn't turn the whole game into that by any stretch of the imagination...

DÛke's version is interesting. It can't really be utilized in decks with dual lands. It is also bad with basics. Other than that it acts as a dual land itself. To me, that raises some questions... What mark are we shooting for here? Are we saying that because the dual lands are too good, these...

I am all for this. I have seen it done at SCG, but I think it could be better here (our forums are better). And hey, what harm could it do?
