No, but you could use Fallen Angel... I used to use Breeding Pit in a deck that had Ebon Praetor, Hecatomb, and Minion of Leshrac as well as numerous Thrulls and some Thrull Champions. The deck was called "Fun with Swamps" and it was really annoying in multiplayer if left alone too much...

It is not inconceivable. My question would be "why?" If you're going to make a new subtype, there should be a good reason, like equipment. Making the subtype cut needless text off cards that used it. How does your idea do that?

They can kill Meddling Mage, but they can also wish back in cards removed by Extraction. Also there's the bigger factor of the dead draws with Meddling Mage. I have never tested it for EBA or sideboards of control decks. I don't know if it would fit in something, but it seems so far that it...

The two have completely different purposes. Parallax Wave is only temporary, but offers several options for what it gets rid of. Swords to Plowshares will remove a creature permanently, but only hits a single creature. I suppose it depends on which decks you usually face...
