I think that is a large part of the reason that highlander formats are played. You can use any of your cards (well, except like ante cards and stuff) and not have to worry about the brokenness that would normally result from this.
Every time a player draws a card, that player must first discard a card from hand. If there are no cards in player's hand, take top card from library and place it in the graveyard instead of drawing. This enchantment does not apply to the first card drawn by a player during the draw phase...
Yes, Kwanzaa was invented by some dude in the 60's and its purpose is supposedly to celebrate culture, family, and stuff like that. But I never trust words that end in a double "a."
What other words might I not trust?
Don't get me wrong. I like Word of Command. I wish I had a playset. It's a very cool card. For tournament decks though, I guess it is just too situational since there's a pretty good chance it won't actually do anything except let you see your opponent's hand.
It's too bad that the card is so...
Except that Reverend Love is dead on.
I like the idea of taking it out because it's too good. That was my excuse for getting rid of Snowfall in my High Tide deck...
Howling Mine (Divining Top too) is useless for burn decks...
Chain Lightning is way better than Spark Elemental...
Fireball is pretty slow.
Fireblast would greatly improve this...
Hypnotic Specter > Abyssal Specter
Urza's Guilt is great for this type of deck...
Memory Jar is always great, especially with Dark Rituals for hitting the board early...
