As long as your opponent doesn't start crapping out creature spells, this is a 2cc 3/3 goblin. Mogg Flunkies was good enough and this (better) thing is probably too good...

I like the art too, but Standstill has done some amazing things, and it just draws three cards. This sucker blows that out of the water. It's broken.

Way broken. A 5cc 9/9 trampler that you don't want to use alongside other creatures. Two Dark Rituals and this guy hits on turn one. If your opponent has no removal, he swings for 9 on all of your subsequent turns. I am not sure what deck would capitalize on having something like this, but it is...

I didn't know individual players were plural, then changed to singular, then became plural again... Also, what are the top fifteen of their library supposed to be? The top fifteen non-land cards? The top fifteen semaphores? The top fifteen mana? The top fifteen giraffes?

I know what seppuku is. But shouldn't the person in the picture look more--samurai-ish?

Well, the mana curve for Ice Age block isn't particularly higher or lower than it was when the format was new (as far as I know).

If by "nice" you mean "totally mediocre" then yes. I think I have all of those cards and use none of them... Even in Ice Age block, they aren't particularly great. Serrated Arrows might be useful as creature removal in the right situation, but it's still not all that good... Merchant Scroll is...

Well then. Have at thee... He doesn't seem to mind, and if you don't care to challenge yourself with a more difficult "target" (whatever that term is supposed to mean in this context) that's no one else's problem...

But as we've seen, the intent behind these bannings was not to make the format as balanced and healthy as possible, but to convince all the people that had quit or were thinking about quitting that they made sure there won't be any Affinity problems. It looks like they used similar reasoning...

I think the idea is that it's something you might not realize you could do. It's a very situational "trick." This doesn't mean it's actually all that useful (let alone good).
