People have been able to use Hunted Wumpus. This is mostly better than Hunted Wumpus... It won't see much attention as far as tournament play goes, since it's in a block with some good legendary creatures. But casually the odds of an opponent not gaining any tempo at all from it are pretty good...

That's supposed to be polite? Also, how was my three-word post "wittering on"? Your argument seems to be that apart from green mana sources, nothing in a deck factors into how well that deck can utilize a 5/5 trampler. Is that really what you think?

It also seems rather pointless to include, since Homelands looks weak even when compared to Ice Age. What cards from Homelands would I use in a block constructed deck? Memory Lapse? Serrated Arrows?

I think it did. There was actually quite a bit of variety after it became more popular. Some were really blatant and others were quite subtle. One of them you had to turn upside-down in order to really notice...

That is a nice joke. At my old local store we had a "wall of shame." It consisted of binder pages on this section of a wall with cards from various CCG's (this was back when the Pokemon card game was relatively new) that were, um, shameful. Let's just say Uktabi Orangutan was one of them...
