    Fake Card: Devour, Green/creature killer

Maybe its free ability should only work if you control a Swamp...

    Fake Card: Breathless Ghoul

I think you're on to something there. Yeah, if you limit his ability, he would have to be cheaper, because then he's no longer the competing with Hatred or anything like that. If you make him 1BB and untargetable, he's going to be able to thwart removal spells, which is great. But it will also...

    Fake Card: Nether Faerie

I picked those cards because we've seen better versions of them. The better Fog is called Undergrowth. It's the same as Fog except for a bonus if you are playing with red creatures and have some mana to spare... Okay, so the outstanding cards from the original set have not since been exceeded...

    Goblin Deck or Goblin Mess?

That will deal with the COP, but if it's THAT important, just Anarchy or Flashfires would be a lot more direct...

    The Question Game!

Not that I know of, but I never worked for them--I wouldn't be qualified anyway. How much are moving expenses in that sort of situation, anyway?

    Fake Card: Breathless Ghoul

Hatred was a VERY good deck. This guy might be even better than Hatred, which seems dangerous...

    Fake Card: Devour, Green/creature killer

I never thought I would see Irini Sengir's name anywhere on these forums unless it was referring to how bad she is...

Fake Card: Errant Minion, and you though EATER of DAYS was Huge!!

I would be careful about going too low on the mana cost. That was what broke Phyrexian Dreadnought...

    The worst Magic Cards EVER!

I don't feel sickened. I do feel very much like breaking something...

    Fake Card: Fumigation, Colorless Instant!!

Just keep in mind that any set from Invasion to Fifth Dawn is going to me largely unsophisticated, with tons of cards focusing on the same particular thing (depending on the block). However, as far as brokenness goes, Mirrodin block is certainly the best place to look since Urza's block.

    Fake Card: Nether Faerie

Yes, but you are excluding the bad cards in the original set and only applying "boundary" to the very best cards. It makes perfect sense that the cards which were found to be too good when the game was new are not being improved upon. The ones that sucked or were merely mediocre, you choose not...

    Fake Card: Reassemble, Artifact instant

I think Limited is right. The only card I can think of that can put itself in your opponent's graveyard is Tempest Efreet...

    Abyssal cards. Comments?

Not sure. It doesn't seem like it would be very problematic...

    Goblin Deck or Goblin Mess?

Volcanic Hammer is pretty bad. I'd stay away from it when possible. It shouldn't be difficult to get some burn cards that are better (Incinerate comes to mind, but even Shock might be better than Volcanic Hammer).

Fake Card: Errant Minion, and you though EATER of DAYS was Huge!!

I first thought of Spellbane Centaur too. There are not a lot of untargeted blue spells that deal damage to creatures. I can't think of any right now...

    Goblin Deck or Goblin Mess?

I never did this much myself (maybe I should have), but for building on a budget, you might get affordable ideas from decklists for the Peasant format, which cannot use rares and has limited access to uncommons. If nothing else it can give you a vague idea of which commons and uncommons are...

    The Question Game!

I don't really have a clue about that... What sort of positions does WotC have in North of Houston?
