Warhammer Quest: Death Below Karak Azgal

Dorgath tries to carve into the wall with his axe. The stone is hard and he loses his grip, narrowly avoiding cutting himself on his own weapon.

    Happy Thanksgiving Everyone!

Happy thanksgiving (I don't like pumpkin pie or cranberry sauce, I find turkey too bland to actually bother eating, and I'm not a big fan of stuffing either).

Warhammer Quest: Death Below Karak Azgal

You pass through another section of corridor. The lantern illuminates more of the unexplored passage, which still seems to be featureless. As you travel, Dorgath's Lifestone of Ashraz and Kelgar's Ring of Jade fully restore the remaining damage that was taken from the fall. Everyone is healed.

Warhammer Quest: Death Below Karak Azgal

I forgot to update this yesterday. I'll try to remember to update it when I get home. Wait, why would you think there would be eight pairs? What would you even do with eight pairs? Six pairs would be enough for all possible pairing combinations, and you'd still have two pairs left over. Anyway...

Warhammer Quest: Death Below Karak Azgal

By the way, did you guys decide what to do with the Gems of Life?

Warhammer Quest: Death Below Karak Azgal

Throg leads the party east. You pass through one hall and get about halfway down the next one. As Throg surmised, there seem to be doors here, but all of them are open. They're plain, wooden doors like the ones you've already seen here. The lantern reveals that the corridor still continues.

Warhammer Quest: Death Below Karak Azgal

The tunnel is apparently quite long. The light from the lantern isn't reaching either end.

Warhammer Quest: Death Below Karak Azgal

I was going to post the next part yesterday, but I got swamped. Well, today I got my files back, so there's definitely no need to stall... Moments pass. Slowly you make out a dim light beneath you, growing fast. Seconds later you fall with a thud onto the floor of a tunnel, presumably somewhere...

    New game: Dominion

I wanted to thin my deck! I was going to use Mine to do it, but I got stalled by all the early turns with only three treasure. For most of this game, I was calculating my odds of having different treasure values (mainly 3, 4, and 5), but I kept drawing Estates and by the time I finally had any...

    New game: Dominion

Bah, luck was cruel to me this time (actually, I was getting worse draws overall than I'd expected based on my card pool in both this game and the previous one so perhaps luck is only cruel to me through Rokapoke, in which case I should make a note not to play Russian roulette against him). I'm...

Warhammer Quest: Death Below Karak Azgal

An ice-cold wind clutches at your limbs. Hideous rasping and howling assails you from all sides. Disoriented, you try to press onwards, although direction is becoming meaningless. Eventually, after what could be minutes, days, or years, feeling returns, and with it, a sense of rapid motion...

Warhammer Quest: Death Below Karak Azgal

Throg identifies a Frost Blade (the wielder may only make one attack per turn while wielding this sword, if the Frost Blade successfully causes 1 Wound then the target is instantly slain, recharges once per adventure, worth 750 gold). The Warriors use their keys on the magic locks. They fit...

Warhammer Quest: Death Below Karak Azgal

So it turns out that I don't currently have access to a device that can connect the hard drive from my broken laptop to my desktop and give me my files back. I'm reasonably sure they're still on that hard drive and safe, but I can't get to them yet. I'll probably have to buy whatever the thing...
