In yours you arrange with them prior to the match what the format is. In mine, I never find out how legal my opponent's deck is, because my opponent doesn't know anything about formats and my deck is so much better because my opponent is a scrub... You are fortunate that all of your opponents...

I would have done one for this week, but I had already written about Relentless Pony and couldn't think of anything else. That's sort of a messed up way to do things though... I want to play with this card, but it got restricted. Oh well, if it's restricted and banned in the current block, then it's okay. Because clearly being banned in block means its power level is lower than other restricted cards in Vintage...

I agree, I'm just trying to point out that my first reason was the one people tend to use... The only one that I personally would use to ban or restrict it in a format would be the third reason I listed... But I think the first two have had some influence, although unjustly...

You said block, not MD5 block... Either way doesn't actually make sense though...
