Well, the first countermagic slots after Mana Drain would almost always go to Force of Will. Then it becomes an issue of whether the UU mana cost is affordable enough to use Counterspell over something like Mana Leak. I'm not in the same boat as Train. I use blue more than probably any other...

I'm sure that there are more bad non-mana-producing lands than good ones. I'm also sure that there are more bad mana-producing lands than good ones. Not producing mana isn't necessarily a trait that must be associated with inferiority when it comes to lands.

I would use Mana Drains to replace Counterspells in my decks, if I had Mana Drains... :rolleyes:

And on occasion it gets crossed multiple times in every set of a block... Oh well, I sort of like it that way. I'm sadistic...

The Nezumi dudes are cool... I don't remember if any of the other flipping dudes are even mildly useful. I remember people used the Nezumi ones though. They're pretty cool. It didn't work against me, because I am invincible. But it was still cool...

Yeah, it's worth looking at all sides of the issue in question... Also, the same doesn't go for Demonic Tutor at all. Demonic Tutor seems fine as a one-of or a four-of. Its usefulness is dependent on what else is in your deck of course. And hunting down a certain card may or may not be worth...
