Maybe silver works against them, but scattering their skulls across the countryside should get the job done. However, I'm not inclined to risk that. If we can figure out who the werewolves are, we can destroy them during the day, while they are in human form. Now would be such a time.

This is interesting. Of course, there's no right or wrong answer. But it mostly boils down to past experience and which colors you're most comfortable working with. When I think of blue/red, I think of excellent decks like Counterburn, Counterphoenix, U/R Landstill, U/R Ophidian, U/R Slaver...

Oh, I'll give you that there's been shameless merchandising (harmless, but shameless nevertheless). But what I still don't get is the bearing this has on the situation if the first sign of lycanthropy is, as you say, the shame.

I was joking! Greed sucks. Phyrexian Arena is lackluster. Necropotence is horrifically broken and Bargain is even more ridiculous. There is no comparison between Necro/Bargain and a card like Phyrexian Arena, except that people use them in similar decks. Decks that use Phyrexian Arena go, "I'm...

Xanthene might have been force-fed to the crazed zombie-eater.

None of them strike me as difficult, but white/red seems the least easy. Blue goes well with generally everything, and green tends to have mana fixers to support two-color decks. It seems a tossup between black/white and red/white. I'll go with red/white.
