    70,000 people shoot themselves

I was only quoting the part that it reminded me about. Here's the whole article: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jeanne_Calment And yeah, she might have been the only person to ever live 120 years or more (she died at 122 years) depending on whether the claim of Shigechiyo Izumi is accurate. So at...

    Tezzerret the Seeker: Broken?

That's how it originally functioned. It's closer to the text on the card than previous errata were.

    Tezzerret the Seeker: Broken?

About as many as any other given rare in A/B/U. What doesn't make sense about it?

...I didn't say she did.

    70,000 people shoot themselves

Messed up as that is, the detail I couldn't stop thinking about was that she shot herself in the torso. Do people do that? Everyone I've ever heard of that died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound was hit in the head (usually on purpose).

    Tezzerret the Seeker: Broken?

They changed that as of last month. It was the reason they also restricted Time Vault in Vintage and banned it in Legacy.

    CPA Build-a-Deck III: Ajani Goldmane

We also need to be able to keep attackers off both the player and Ajani. Swords seems like a fine way to do it... 4x Ajani Goldmane 2x Vindicate 2x Swords to Plowshares Creatures: 0 Non-Creature Cards: 8 Lands: 0 Total: 8

    Ultimatum cards

I haven't seen all the cards from this set yet, but I doubt people will be using Ultimatums in Standard. They might be using three-color decks, but these cards hopefully won't be efficient enough to see tournament use. I don't know what Standard decks look like now, but back when I actually did...

    Ultimatum cards

But I can cast Yawgmoth's Bargain for less mana in only one color and get a much more impressive effect than any of these.

    VP Debate

Do you have a source for this? I have to leave for work right now, so I'll have to look into it later. But I seem to remember reading that Quayle gave a different excuse. Something about the answer sheet for the spelling bee having the wrong spelling and him going off the answer sheet... Also...

    Ultimatum cards

I just looked at all five and they all look like they're stuck in the same spot: very powerful effects, but not powerful enough to bother using with something that circumvents mana cost. And unfortunately, they're not viable with the mana costs they have. Triple mana of one color is pretty...

    Party "A" and Party "B"

Yeah. I've seen this happen a lot. Actually, I was raised in a family that was part of a church where a lot of other Christian sects were considered not really Christian. They might call themselves Christians, but they weren't the true Christians. That sort of thing. And I've heard Catholics and...

    Party "A" and Party "B"

Moral values or religious values? But I do not believe that the values of the majority should allow for laws that impinge on the liberty of anyone, even a very small minority. How doesn't "under god" constitute an establishment of religion? I've already said about the coins that I don't buy...
