    Multiplayer Discard deck

    What does that mean?

Seize The Angels Deck, please, i want your opinions

Synergy in the case of Magic is cards working together to produce a more powerful effect so that "the whole is greater than the sum of its parts." A good example of synergy is the famous/infamous Donate + Ilusions of Grandeur combo.

    Charon's Claw(my type one sui-black)

A good point, it might be a dead card in your hand against some decks...

    Best Edition

I hated 6th for the rules changes, and it isn't that powerful, but it has some good choices for reprints (and some bad ones)... I don't see 5th as being worse than 4th by too much though...

What card makes you cry when it is played against you?

Um, I guess by using a word that archaic, you're proving that you're not... But what is the significance of this?

    Casual format?

I see... Like my multiplayer-fun deck with its near-constant reset buttons or the time my playgroup did highlander for a while... Well, my discard deck has 3 too many jars for a Type I legal deck, a guy I know has 4 Time Spirals powering his Mind's Desire deck, another whose artifact deck...

What card makes you cry when it is played against you?

Well, I meant I beat life-gain with the Necro version. I don't know how the mono-blue would beat life-gain... The Type I Rector version looks really fun though... Any spell you can't counter? Yeah, they can only play so many of those though...

    Thought Prison

It's more of a situational or reactive card than one to build a deck around (it relies too much on what your opponent uses). However, it did kill me in a Casual (with a capital "C" I guess :) ) tournament in one round. I had a losing hand to begin with and it never helped except then, but I was...

    Forbidden Ritual

Ironically enough, as others pointed out, they don't see Illusions of Grandeur being used as originally intended. It actually can be abused, at least more than Forbidden Ritual wiout the errata. Illusions doesn't have an errata though... Now, I don't want Illusions to have an errata, even...

Seize The Angels Deck, please, i want your opinions

It doesn't have any sort of upkeep or any other obligation. The number of spells will be lowered overall, but with MP, you're still going to get some most likely. I'd try it...

What card makes you cry when it is played against you?

Whereas I beat life-gain consistently with it, but that shows how much variation there is in the game... Necropotence is a favorite of mine, but it's not the best card in the game. That title easily goes to the insane card-drawer: Mystic Remora.

    Forbidden Ritual

Everyone uses cards for purposes that they weren't originally intended for... Well, maybe not everyone, but if that were what erratas were for, we'd have a lot more erratas... We didn't mean for Balance to be broken, so let's errata the crap out of it... Ancestral Recall? That thing's errata...

I don't know... But why Diving Griffin?
  17. Oversoul

    Death from Above

Oh, agreed, except that the four card rule is more than just a tourney-imposed limit. Using the restricted list is playing Type I, even if it's not tournament play. You could do it in a casual manner, sure. That's not what I'm talking about though. I'm talking about the format known as casual...

    Bargaining for a Bargain

No, Chant is past Prophecy. In fact, I'm not sure as to what the reason for Therapy not being in there is. Maybe he thinks that there are enough ways to kill Rector already, but Therapy is the best one, even if it is from a newer set...

    Charon's Claw(my type one sui-black)

I dispute that. The greatest point about Lake is that it taps to produce FOUR mana for the price of a swamp. Being legendary is just icing on the cake. But the card is great... Why not include a Necropotence or something? It looks like that would work...
