I think Lightning Bolt is closer to being ghetto than Wrath of God and Plateau... And lightning is never boring...

I like Ice Cauldron... As far as alternate wins, even without being good, it's not so much of a problem. It's kind of funny, except Door... There's a line between hilarity and idiocy... Door crosses it...

Or Elvish Piper can let your creatures dodge countermagic... Then again, either of those is just another spell to counter or bounce... The problem with those creatures that can't be countered-they have a tough time competing with a deck that doesn't rely on any countermagic...

Or Mana Drain... *shudder*
