As far as winning goes, wishes are, in actuality, a rather pathetic solution to poor deckbuilding. Perfect for tricking bad players into trying it though... I think it's sort of funny that they only managed to make one of the Wish cards a bad card...

It's definitely not too slow. It's just that it's not effective enough. Fact or Fiction, Academy Rector, Juggernaut, Nevinyrral's Disk, Nether Void, Deep Analysis, Tendrils of Agony, Goblin Charbelcher, and several other bombs cost four mana and are good cards in either Vintage or new format...

Gamble maybe, although it doesn't seem like this deck would have a large enough hand in the mid to late game for it to be all that great...
