    Sligh Of The Times

And then you write them all down, put a check next to the really good ones, burn the list up, and replace what would have been your exemplary arguments with flames (not particularly good ones either) and puling? Why go to so much trouble just to be a malcontent? But enough about such unsavory...

    Sligh Of The Times

The trouble with a "more burn oriented" sligh deck is that you're already off to a bad start. Lava Spike can't hit blockers at all. Spark Elemental is a bad Lava Spike. Shrapnel Blast has a certain appeal, but it's nothing exciting... And then in your decklist you have "12 other fast and...

    tired of non-land permantents?

Well, I did say that it would be fun but not productive as something like Megrim... Killing everyone else in one shot is good, but killing literally everyone is pretty cool every once in a while...

    tired of non-land permantents?

If black is involved, Warped Devotion might be fun, although not as productive as something like Megrim...

    Sligh Of The Times

At this point, I have become convinced: Gizmo really believes all of the hilarious drivel he posts here. And sadly enough, it is quite possible that others will believe it as well. I was never really satisfied with my last incarnation of the good creatures list. I would probably make some small...

D&D: Palace of the Silver Princess

Cugel rolled his eyes at Patrick. Of course he was planning to at least look through the portcullis. "Yes, of course. Now what was it? Right is the holy direction? Got it..."

    Vintage article from magicthegathering

Well, he did have to cover a lot of decks. I was expecting to see the Death Wish storm deck (since he invented it) but I guess it wasn't really used much (maybe it was too hard for people to pilot). I didn't see Stax in there. Stax has been pretty influential. I think it was a good article...

    Daunting Defender

I like that deck especially because it was the first to feature the Urza's Armor/Pestilence machine of doom.

    tired of non-land permantents?

Yeah, I'd have said Viseling or Iron Maiden, since they can hit multiple opponent, but I wasn't sure if they would be as playable (you have to have more mana floating when you Hibernate in order to play them) so I just went with the generic "Vise-like."

D&D: Palace of the Silver Princess

Fortunately for his new friends, Cugel spotted that nasty dart trap, which...Oh, now that was absoulutely beautiful. While Cugel was busy gloating, the entrance was sealed and he was trapped in this dreadful place. "Well, this place is decidedly unpleasant. So, which door?"

I don't think I've even seen that phrase before (dueling card). And since no one uses it, you can ascribe pretty much whatever meaning you want to it...
