Ah, but in MTGO you have to pay for the cards. You don't start with any cards you want. If they were proxies, you could just use whatever, but they're not... TCO: I see no reason not to take full advantage of it...

People have been able to use Hunted Wumpus. This is mostly better than Hunted Wumpus... It won't see much attention as far as tournament play goes, since it's in a block with some good legendary creatures. But casually the odds of an opponent not gaining any tempo at all from it are pretty good...

Well, I don't actually play with proxy decks, but I will play random things on Apprentice, which is basically the same. I don't consider it a "sin" at all...

Well, they let people use Alpha cards in tournaments (with opaque sleeves, of course) and they have rounded corners...

I don't lose track of what he says. I think just one time I asked for clarification on something, and--he clarified it (which is more than I can say for most people).

That's supposed to be polite? Also, how was my three-word post "wittering on"? Your argument seems to be that apart from green mana sources, nothing in a deck factors into how well that deck can utilize a 5/5 trampler. Is that really what you think?

I know that I obtained a D10 from some random non-D&D board game, but I don't know whether that game existed prior to D&D. Did you ever meet someone who complained about others using dice to keep track of their life-totals in Magic?

It also seems rather pointless to include, since Homelands looks weak even when compared to Ice Age. What cards from Homelands would I use in a block constructed deck? Memory Lapse? Serrated Arrows?
