    goblin king

Since I'm not sure when MTGNews started up. I do know this place came into being in July of 1999, after having the idea hatched on the old Dojo forums. And you are correct - many of the Founders have dropped out of circulation. I hate it when that happens...:(

DÛke, it does signify the beginning of a new era. It's the day America woke up and realized "that the world is much more than the U.S.", and that if we are to live in it like the rest of the world we need to make it safer for everyone. That's why we declared a war on terrorism, and while I've...

    screw mtgnews!

I can't speak for MTGNews, myself, but we try to keep it relatively PC here. That's, from what understand, one of the major differences with this board as opposed to some of the others. Instead, "we use big words and damaging phrases that are just as insulting if not more so." It's our way...:p

Just wait'll he gets a load of us...;) Gobo, I've had enough. This makes 5 posts of yours I've had to edit tonight, and pal, I've got better things to do with my time. Straighten out your act and stop using profanity, or I'll see to it you're banned from here so fast it'll make your keyboard...

    Magic professional commits suicide

And perhaps, in our own way, the changes we advocated in the game that actually happened were just a reflection of what many others were looking for as well, and our voices just joined with the others. I don't really believe WotC R&D took what just we said at face value and ran with it - do...

Some things are not meant for mere human comprehension...;) Speaking of which, you are right Multani - the bickering about 9/11 should not infringe on the bickering about any other topics anymore. Unfortunately, it seems like the fallout from it is still being felt by some of our members, most...

    Magic professional commits suicide

This makes it sound like you like coming here... But: And: This makes it sound like you don't really respect anyone else here. In fact, you could take it a step further and extrapolate that you in fact "like to be among your own kind" wallowing in the "crap" that is the CPA. You are...

    Warriors II Beta Test

I sure have. The drop menu comes down and the choice for "copy" isn't colored in. Maybe it's different for me because I'm still using AOL 4.0 (7.0 sucks up WAY too much memory to be useful... :( ). Oh well.

    Warriors II Beta Test

But those hotkeys don't work for AOL. In fact, AOL isn't giving me a copy option on this at all. Maybe I should open up an Explorer window instead... That didn't work either, because the profile window doesn't come with drop menus. How are you guys still doing it?

    Warriors II Beta Test

So I've yet to actually meet Peg. I wonder if I should dress up...:p On a side note, my guy joined the army at lvl 30, but he got killed in action shortly thereafter (see tombstone here). He was reborn as an elf, but since "Warriors only uses the left button" I haven't been able to copy and...

    Alternate Meanings

The Washington Post publishes a yearly contest in which readers are asked to supply alternate meanings for various words. The following were some of this year's winning entries: 1. Coffee (n.), a person who is coughed upon. 2. Flabbergasted (adj.), appalled over how much weight you have...
