Okay all you dads out there with daughters, get this movie. It went 'on sale' today and my two little ones watched it TWICE! If your kids loved the original, then they're gonna love the sequel.

I loved the first movie, though I thought that the lead wasn't very mature. It took those guys long enough to make a sequel. I mean, TEN years? What took you?

Have no idea why it took ten years. Maybe they had to wait until the original was back on video. Maybe they had too many projects going at once back then. <shrug> who knows.

Since it's not PIXAR (cgi) it's not as good, in fact, it seems someone thought of how to beat a dead horse.
BTW, I was confused about PJ's post, what was meant by mature?

I didn't know that... I wouldn't think Pixar would let the license get away from them... although maybe they don't do the traditional animated stuff (that's what it's in, right?)
I thought PJ meant Ariel was a bit flaky, but I always thought it fit her; she was SUPPOSED to be flaky.
