Anyone else think there should be stronger international law concerning the Japanese dolphin slayings that will be shown in The Cove?

I'm also not really familiar what international law exists to protect endangered species or animals in general.

Well - the dolphins are actually in the Whale family - but the whale moratorium from 1986 doesn't apply to them...

The Japanese have usually shown zero respect for international regulations to protect species. Not sure why. That's just how it is.

they respected international "kaboom" sent their way...

but since dolphins aren't killing back, I guess it won't slow down..

I even thought about us and the fish we slaughter for food - but it really just doesn't seem the same... don't know why... maybe because we actually farm a lot of our fish also... don't know...
