Scandalmonger Deck

Guys, I am trying to make a Scandalmonger deck. What I have so far is:

White:
4 Mangara's Blessing
4 Spiritual Focus

Black:
4 Scandal Monger

Red:
4 Guerrilla Tactics
4 Mana Flare

Artifacts:
4 Metrognome
4 Sand Golem

So, the question remains, how do I force my opponent to use Scandalmonger? Mana Flare works, but an intelligent opponent would catch on quickly and cease to use Scandalmonger as a mana sink. Is there any other cards that would really work with this theme? Is there a way to make your opponent make lots of mana and have to dump it somewhere without it backfiring on me?

If nothing else, you will get to use the scandalmonger and your opponent will be reluctant to do so. That alone is pretty brutal. You can make sure he never has another card in his hand and if he tries to use the sucker, five life for you.

I don't know if you'd even want him to use the scandalmonger. As for giving him a sh!tload of mana, you'd just better pray he's not playing a burn deck.
