Sap. Cluster

[Captain Caveman]

I've reworked my old Cluster deck some and it seems to working
pretty good. If you can think of some way to improve it, please
share you thoughts.

2 Serra Avatar
1 Hurricane

3 Serra's Sanctum

The combo:
Cluster/Fecundity/ Altar
(e.g: above cards in play, pay 1, discard a card to Cluster, put a
token in play, sack the token to the Altar, generate two mana and
draw a card from the Fecundity, use 1 mana from the Altar and
repeat the process over and over.)

The win:
1. Get Worship in play, and generate 21+ mana and Hurricane for
the win.(note: you have to have a creature in play to survive.)

2. Use both Serra Avatar's to generate infinite mana and mill the
opponet and yourself. When you get down to both Avatar's as
the only cards in your library they will recur themselves. The
combo will have to be in place though.

Comments;
Any type of counter deck will be a nightmare of course. The
sideboard could include Defense Grid, which would help out
some.

 

[Duel]

Replenish, replenish, replenish. I know it's overused but it's still not overpriced. Gaea's blessing, to recur your graveyard when you need to, when milling yourself. Right, and how do you get infinite mana from the avatars? I'm a little slow, I guess. You might consider worldly tutor or gameskeeper as viable methods for getting the avatars when you need them.

 

[FoundationOfRancor]

I suggest squee. I know he wont be as fast, and he might not go well with te whole "combo" but you can add some cool spellshapers.

For my deck the win is stampede drivrs and losts of the saproling dudes. I can overun em REALLY fsat. I dont know. Hope that helps

 

[Densmore]

stick to a set win scenerio.

fit in some snake baskets,its the best way to abuse the altar/fecundity.

[Captain Caveman]

I've done some further updating with the help of the CPA &
outside sources and have what I believe the be a pretty
good version, now. I'm not suggesting its the best, but it
seems a lot better than before.

The new version: This is a variant of Alexander Blumke's
deck, which is a variant of Nicolas Labarre's deck.

Spirit link, Masticore, Pattern of Rebirth and the Will
may seem out of place but those cards give we a few more
options. PoR might be better as a sideboard card. I may
replace it with Sap Burst. Time will tell.

Anyway, its an interesting deck to play. if you can think of
anything to make it better, please share your thoughts.
