Raisin Format -- Pattern Rector

Oversoul

The Tentacled One
While experimenting with new decks for the new format, I came up with this. I haven't been testing with it anymore, since I don't think it can be tier 1. It does have potential though, and is, I've found, great fun. Perhaps it could be taken in a different direction, so I might as well post it here...

4 Dark Ritual
1 Symbiotic Wurm
2 Nantuko Husk
2 Phyrexian Ghoul
4 Cabal Therapy
3 Saproling Burst
4 Birds of Paradise
4 Savannah Lions
1 Akroma, Angel of Wrath
1 Spirit of the Night
4 Lotus Petal
2 City of Brass
4 Windswept Heath
2 Phyrexian Tower
4 Savannah
4 Scrubland
4 Bayou
1 Duress (I forget how it happened that only one was included)
1 Darksteel Colossus
4 Pattern of Rebirth
4 Academy Rector

This deck has a variety of ways of getting huge attackers to kill the opponent. It is not focused because I was unsure which ways would be best. Ideally, the deck wins by sacrificing Academy Rector to a Phyrexian Ghoul or whatever to get Pattern of Rebirth on a Birds or something which is also sacrificed in order to get a Symbiotic Wurm, etc. and swing for a lot.

If necessary, the Rector can simply bring in Saproling Burst.

Pattern can also bring in either of two huge flyers or Darksteel Colossus.

What approach seem the most practical?

Greed! Not funny...

Seriously, I'm not sure what route to go with this deck. I like the deck a lot, but I get the feeling it won't be competitive enough (even though it shuts down some decks early on with its toolbox tricks).
