A friend of a friend wrote it.

It's called Progress Quest. It is a parody of all CRPG, you start it up in either single or multiplayer mode and watch your character as they advance to fame and fortune through acts both vicious and heroic. In multiplayer, you select a realm and get ranked based on your experience. I particularly enjoy the lower levels, when the items you get are absolutely ridiculous.

Because it was fairly quick to download despite my dialup/AOL speed connection. I'm not sure I like it though, being that the program does everything for you, so you can't make any choices for your character.

It is fun being a Double Wookie Shiv-Knight though...
