How about this... If the card you nominate wins... you take the last seat on the committee... for the first 3, you guys figure out who to swap... It will keep the committee fresh... and I agree that if you are on the committee you shouldn't nominate a card...

While I would benefit from that (as my nominated card won first), this process has been decided already. It's slow, but I think it works well.

Yep, we already decided to do it this way. That way, the committee members are less likely to be influenced to vote for a card just to get the person on the committee.
