I am new to this site and getting back into magic after a long time. I want to write some articles on casual magic in the personal metagame where you play with only a few other people. I have been reading a few articles on here and they are well written and interesting. I only hope that my articles about cards from a few years ago can hold up.

Welcome to the site and welcome back into Magic!

I think all of us, at some point, have done the same thing as you... fallen out of Magic and then gotten back into it. There's nothing unusual about that, so I wouldn't worry about focusing on cards from a few years back.

I really hope that you do submit some articles for us. As much fun as it is to hang out in the message boards, the front page is what represents this site to the rest of the Magic community. A healthy supply of front-page articles can show that casual players can be serious about Magic, as well. I'm looking forward to reading what you have to say and I hope you enjoy writing about Magic enough to continue doing it regularly.

Again, welcome to the community! I'm sure Ransac will be around shortly to get you officially situated.
