What deck would you have built? I went G/U but think I could have gone G/B, now looking the cards over.

I would have gone G/B over R/B. Your green and red cards were mostly equal but the Tusker and the Glade swing the decision into green's favor.

I can see why you went G/U - Arcanis is just so damn good..

But I think G/B was the way to go...

Surprisingly (or not), I don't think Arcanis came out but once, if at all.

I took blue mostly because of the flyers and it was going to be creature heavy. I guess I could have used black for the removal though.

I'll post my deck tomorrow.

All the articles I know of and experience I've had says to make sure you have some form of removal... Typically that's black and red.

I probably would have done the G/B also...

I went R/W with just commons from both, And then Sunday went R/G cause 5/6 rares were Green and only one not too playable was enchantress presence. Saturday 4-1 Sunday 3-1. RED IS SO GOOD IN THIS BLOCK. GOBLIN COMMONS WRECK. And whites soldiers so good with their flying bird soldiers and the 1/1 provoke that can prevent all dmg by him and to him. I can't wait to see my rating after this I beat 3 people that are very high rated so my 1657 should go up. I beat Jeff Kitchen who is 9th in Utah, I am sitting at 117 in Utah, I beat 2 others that a very good I just can't find their ratings.

With your I would have went green red/ Skirk marauder is sooooo good. Kills morphers, can even stack dmg and kill 2 morphers. You had some fat green creatures.

Maybe there's some new articles out; the ones I remember talk mostly about evasion to get around creature stalls and perhaps some removal in spells. Since Legions is all creatures, there wasn't a lot of spells to go around. I probably should have paid more attention to the creature abilities; I realized Skirk Marauder was pretty decent after playing against it. I didn't really like the red spells except Threaten though.

Green did have the biggest creatures and they helped a lot when they came out; Feral Throwback was great since even Amplified just once, he was 5/5 and could Provoke. Ditto with Beserk Mulodant and his Rampage ability.

That's Legions' biggest fault, if it has one, is that there's no spells or enchantments to enhance the all-creature expansion. I have a sinking feeling the next one in the cycle is going to be non-creature to balance things out. I haven't taken a good look at Legions yet, but I plan to.

If the green elf is in play that stops an opponent from countering creatures...

Legions makes all your spells uncounterable... The morph-spells really are a good idea I think...

Until the Elf gets killed/unsummoned... :)

I like the Morph abilities that happen as they're turned face up. I never really used Morph before (not that I got to play a lot with Onslaught cards), but because of the lack of other spells, they made me want to use Morph more often than not.

I think what's funny is that after you morph-over a spell - your opponent would then counter any morph creature you try to play...

Just because they know they couldn't counter the "spell" once it happens...
