4 Ninja of the Deep Hours
4 Throat Slitter
2 Higure, the Still Wind
2 Ink-Eyes, Servant of Oni
3 Shizuko, Caller of Autumn
4 Sakura-Tribe Elder
4 Orochi Leafcaller
3 Orochi Sustainer
4 Kodama's Reach
4 Sosuke's Summons
2 Orochi Hatchery
4 Island
4 Swamp
16 Forest

The big problem with the deck is that it's more of a bad Snake deck than a good Ninja deck. Really, it's something that I tried because I want to play with my Sakikos and my Ink-Eyes. What do you guys think?

EDIT: Or rather, I wanted to play with my Shizukos. I always get those two confused.

EDIT #2: Oh yeah, one more thing. If your advice is going to be something like, "Drop all the Ninjas and focus on the Snake tokens, you loser", please keep it to yourself. Thanks.

One of the more effective ways to use Ninjas IS I think with tokens.

Think about it, say yove got two 2/2 grizzly bear guys, and your opponent makes 3 random 1/1 tokens somehow. Normally you'd think you're quids in - he attacks, you block and kill two of them and take 1 pt of damage, nothing at all that. But this time you block two, one gets in, turns into a Throat Slitter, kills your guy, suddenly you're feeling a hell of a lot less happy with the situation.

Why not? It seems a ninja deck would be able to drop more non-token creatures than the average deck.

Any whoo, beautiful use of Shizuko, that's got to be one of my favorite cards from this new set. Great MP card too.

Any room for River Boa? Its a snake, its relatively cheap, has a complete evasion ability, and is just a damn good creature in general.

Right now it's a tossup between Shizuko and Sakiko for the "Snake legend that makes mana without burning" spot. And the deck is Kamigawa block, so no River Boas for me.

Dah! Or should I say Duh! (on the Boa's that is)

I'd stick with the Shizuko's myself. The Sakiko's can be made very one-sided, but it doesn't provide nearly as much useful (and early) mana. You have have nice synergy with Shizuko, and will be able to eat that mana easily.

Though I also don't mind giving my opponent's an extra resource here and there in MP, makes for cool games. Shizuko is a scary one though, that is for sure.
