Good game! That's good, because I was about out of useful cards. I had left:

Fierce Invocation
Enhanced Awareness
Grim Contest
Two manifest cards and a draw card. Sheesh... if I was smarter, back before you cast that Runemark on the Sage, I would have arranged my mana so I would have able to cast Grim Contest in response to kill him off anyway and save the Aven for later. But I guess it worked out
