I always enjoy these puzzles (click here

This one's not too difficult, you just have to know your cards. Hints below in reverse (highlight hidden text):

Hint 1 - Good thing he's not attacking with a 5/5

Hint 2 - Your final life total will be 6 when the game ends

Hint 3 - You need another hint? It should be obvious by now. Think Symbiotically

I'd have to go look at a spoiler just to see the possible face-down cards and that's too much work for me :p

Broodhatch Nantuko - 1G
Creature - Insect Druid (uncommon)
Whenever Broodhatch Nantuko is dealt damage, you may put that many 1/1 green Insect creature tokens into play.
Morph 2G
1/1

You block the eel - un-morph - and lose the nantuko but gain 6 1/1 tokens...

Next turn you Biorythm - taking you to 6, him to 3, and attack, he can only prevent 1 and block 2 so 3 get through to deal damage to him....

Ha!!!! You like apples - how 'bout dem apples?!!!
;) :D

However - he could prevent 1 to your broodhatch with his cleric making only 5 tokens, that would take your life to 5 and his to 3... then he could live another turn, because only 2 of your attackers would get through - in which case you lose...:(

No no no, Train. Won't work.

He does that and you get 5, but his Cleric is tapped, so he can only block 1 of the 5 and he takes 4 damage instead of 3.

Okay - I was thinking too much... I was just excited I was right... But either way the broodhatch wins it for you...

Sorry - I'll lay off the Coat during CPA Hours...:p

Nantucko Broodhatch...

And I didn't think it'd be Green... I kept looking for a cool Black Fattie who could live and had fear... Or a blue guy with bounce and flying...

Wasn't there an Ant (mirage/visions??) with the same ability? Where it'd make ants?

Also, there's that starfish wall which did that, but it created walls.

That were the Saber Ants from Mercadian Masques a 2/3 for 3G with that Insect ability.

One of my earlier decks was revolving around them, with Spiteful Bully, Spidersilk Armor, Stampede Driver, Phyrexian Plaguelord, Fallen Angel and some other random stuff, ah.. the memories... :)

I love the recursive critter black decks. When Chronicles came out I developed a Fallen Angel/Hell's Caretaker/Breeding Pit deck that was able to pump out lots of critters to make my Angels really big. Later, when Homelands came out, I added Sengir Autocrat. The deck continued to evolve w/ other sets by using Recurring Nightmare, Coffin Queen, Helm of Posession...lots of cool stuff that allowed me to eliminate every other critter on the board while keeping me loaded w/ lots more...

That was fun to play.
