Other then MTGO, does anyone else use any other online magic games?

You mean like Apprentice? Other than that, I'm not aware of any. However, I'm not very active anyway.

Nope.
Just the cardboard version (and the forum kind, but I doubt that's what you meant)

I used to use Apprentice, but use Magic Workstation now. I like it better.

Doesn't Workstation have glitches in the shuffling? I know Apprentice isn't perfect on shuffling, but somebody told me it's great compared to MWS.

MWS has 'backwash' programmed in, if I understand someone correctly, but you have to know what commands to give it.

I believe that most people find Magic Online to be quite a value, pound-for-pound, play-for-the-dollar.

Last time I tried Apprentice, the people I played had NO rules knowledge, and acted like absolute idiots. That's not a good thing.

What do you mean "backwash".

I have used MWS and have had no bugs as of yet. Its been recently updated. The thing with MTGO is, I got to pay to get cards.....Which I will truely never own.

Don't expect much more than just an updated version of Apprentice from Magic Workstation (MWS). It boasts as having features for card archiving and such (in case you wanna keep track of your collection) but it doesn't have all the promo cards and all the variations of cards in it for you to use.

The bigger problem I see with MWS is that you're stuck with either using foil cards or non-foil cards... not both. Same with the "automatic pricing" it has on it, you can either go foil or non-foil, not both.

So it's basically only good for gaming like Apprentice is, you'll have to keep using Magic Suitcase for card archiving and such.

Backwash was the cheating program/packet sniffer that you could run Apprentice through.

MWS comes with it installed, if you know how to use it.

That sounds like too much of a pain in the rear just to cheat at magic. And I do know how.

Some people don't think so...

I gave up Apprentice at Torment. Why? Magic Online.

I only use it for other games, now, such as Havic the Bothering and the Ultimate Muscle CCG.

Packet editing is simple using the correct program that supports macros...

I used to cheat on lowtech online games as kinda a casual "hacker" for the reason of showing them that they could get hacked, and the guy who designed the games was a freaking idiot.
