Magic in Aloha paradise

As some of you know, I am leaving for Hawaii this Sunday. While, between sight-seeing and beach-funning, I intend to to see if Magic has a strong, weak, or any community on the Island of Kauai.



Does anybody here live on Kauai? If so, I would be happy to meet you in person if I get the chance.

Touchdown!!!!!!! I have arrived at the Hawaiian airport and am sending this via a computer at the Delta Crown Club. After 12 hours of flight, I should be tired, BUT I'M NOT!!!!!!! It's only 4 pm over here, where it would be 10 PM over in Atlanta.


So far, I have only seen signs of life. No signs of no life, which means no other magic players, yet. But, I'm still at the airport. When I arrive at Kauai, where I'm staying, I will continue my search more extensively.

Okay, it's May 30th, and so far all I have had a chance to see is a few beaches, Wailua Falls, and a couple other sights. No opportunity to search for gaming life has come up yet, but I'm still hopeful. I will be snorkeling in a little bit, so I must be brief with my time here.

If you find a person who plays Magic while surfing or snorkling or whatever, that's cool and all, but hey! Relax and have fun. Don't let Magic be the driving goal here

Hey, I am relaxing! I am enjoying myself to the fullest. Just so you know, I have snorkeled for the last three days in a row. I am taking it easy today though, and have constructed a new deck in the process. I call it "You grim?" Anyway, I am having a blast here and will be enjoying myself even more.


On the other side, I have not seen any Magic, yet.

Hawaii update: Went Snuba, not scuba, diving on Monday. It was pretty cool. Instead of having a tank on your back, your regulator is connected to a floating boat of air at the surface of the water.

Unfortuantely, I have come down with the flu or something like it. In addition, my body wasn't up to the task of deep water swimming and I felt like, well, you know, on Tuesday. I am getting better, but I have been grounded in my travels.


Also, I STILL have not discovered Magic on this Island.

Last Hawaii Update:

I leave for home today and conclude my expedition by saying that there are no hardcore gamers in the Hawaiian Island of Kauai(Hawaiian Mage, you are doing a horrible job).

In addition, yesterday I went Kayaking and it was pretty cool. I have been spending most of my time at the local arcade playing a turn-table video game called "HipHopMania". I am addicted to this game and can't get enough of it. I must steal it.

*Ransac envisions himself walking out of the arcade with the game under his shirt. Unfortuantely, it's one of the largest consoles at the arcade and the weight crushes the vision.*

Okay, now I'm back at the Delta Crown Club where I started my hawaiian mission. I tried to find some non-life on the way here, but it was not to be. I'm sure that on the big island of Hawaii, magic exists. But, not on the smaller islands.

I am now completely over the sickness and will be home in about 18 hours. Until then, tootles.
