Dang lucky there. I'd be bragging about having gotten the sliver precon, but had to work a shift overlapping the time the card store was open. I will be bragging tomorrow though. ;)

I got a box of Foreign Onslaught for judging in Chicago, which I traded for a box of Legions. I also got a box of Legions for judging the Prerelease. Supposedly, I'll be getting one because I am a level 3 judge.

Yesterday, I played a Rochester draft. I was seat 1 and got a first pick Relentless Assault (Is that the enchantment?). It turns out that this combos reasonably well with the Goblin Sharpshooter I got later. During one game, both my opponent and me were drawing nothing but land for several turns and those were the only things on the board. I had 10+ mana, so I was able to deal 2 pts per turn until I finally drew Read the Runes (no, it wasn't an all-rare draft. Those were the only 3 rares in my deck) and drew into a bunch of stuff. I discarded most of it, but I had 12 land by then. I needed to keep more than I was expecting, so I was left with 9 land, but finished my opp off with Goblin Machinist.

After the draft, one of the other players commented that he was surprised that I won the whole thing because he thought my deck wasn't the best at the table. He said that his and his first round opp's were the best at the table. Ironic seeing as how the guy that beat him played me in the finals and it was the only one of my matches that wasn't even close :D

Point being, I picked up another 7 packs there, in addition to drafting a Goblin Goon, which I didn't end up playing.
